Top chefs to kick off celebratory Foundation dinner
Laybourne, whose 21 Hospitality Group owns 21, Caffè Vivo, and The Broad Chare on Newcastle’s Quayside, along with Porterhouse Butcher and Grill, Saltwater Fish Company and Café 21 at Fenwick has secured the very best ingredients for the meal, which will be prepared by outstanding chefs from across the region. Terry and team will be working alongside John Adamson’s Ramside Event Catering.
Guests at the exclusive black-tie event, hosted by sports broadcaster Gabby Logan, will enjoy a fabulous bespoke menu:
Salad of Heritage Beets, Oak Smoked Salmon and Ratte Potatoes with Orange Mustard Vinaigrette
Salad of Roasted Beets, Walnut Cream and Goats Curd (v)
Angus Rump Steak, Braised Celery and Bone Marrow with Borderlaise Sauce
Autumn Vegetable Tart with Chestnuts and Truffles (v)
Fromage Blanc, Tart Apple and Vanilla Mousse with Almond and Cinnamon Streusel
The evening will recognise some of the unsung heroes achieving great things through Foundation projects as well as celebrating the Club’s 125th Anniversary.
