NUCASTLE is a community hub providing sport activities and facilities that can be booked by individuals or groups. We are also the host venue for numerous Newcastle United Foundation programmes and free community sessions for adults and children.
NUCASTLE provides event hire space for groups of up to 70 people for meetings, training days, events, and team building or corporate away days.
NUCASTLE is a children’s birthday party venue, and we offer a selection of Football, Football and Gaming and Fun and Games Parties.
NUCASTLE opening hours are 8am – 9.30pm daily.
Located on Diana Street, NE4 68Q and only a five-minute walk from St. James’ Park.
There is a lift to access all floors.
Centre parking is located around back of the centre, off Stanhope Street next to Avolon Court, car parks to the side and front of centre are privately owned.
Changing rooms including an accessible changing room with tracking hoist are available on site.

For one off sporting sessions, you MUST book and pay through the website, bookings cannot be taken at reception.

Safeguarding is a priority at NUCASTLE and some of our participants do not consent to be filmed, therefore all photography and filming on site should be pre-approved by the Foundation and only carried out by a verified Foundation or NUCASTLE employee/volunteer. Photography is strictly forbidden in the changing and toilet areas.
Free Wi-Fi access is available for all centre users. Please ask a member of our reception team upon your arrival.
We recommend Astro trainers or moulded boots for the 4G rooftop pitch but trainers are acceptable. Trainers are recommended as the only footwear to be worn in the Sports Hall.
Thanks to our partners Northumbria Water, we are part of the refill scheme, so you can fill up your water bottle for free. Refill stations are available in the Sports Hall and on the level one corridor.
