From keeping active during school holidays with our Holiday Courses to perfecting skills on the pitch with our professional coaching team, we have opportunities for everyone to get involved.
There are many ways you can support the work of Newcastle United Foundation. You can help by fundraising for us or attending one of our charity events.
Each year Newcastle United Foundation recruits a team of runners to take on the Great North Run – the World’s biggest and best half marathon.
Fundraisers completing the Great North Run for Newcastle United Foundation directly generate vital funding for our community programmes, providing support for thousands of people across the region every year.
To secure your place, we ask for a £62 deposit to cover the cost of your place. All the money you raise comes directly to Newcastle United Foundation.
We ask our runners to raise a minimum of £300 in sponsorship. Your sponsorship directly funds meaningful community work in your area, helping motivate and inspire people to be more active, learn new skills, be more employable and to reach their potential.
The AJ Bell Great North 10k is back on 6 July 2025.
Runners will have the option to be a local hero and run for Newcastle United Foundation. As a Foundation runner, you will be wearing a special black and white striped vest and will be transformed into a local hero as you run along a city centre route that shares the same iconic start line as the Great North Run.
Your sponsorship directly funds meaningful community work in your area, helping motivate and inspire people to be more active, learn new skills, be more employable and to reach their potential.
Newcastle United Foundation, CEO Sleepout and Walking With The Wounded are committed to supporting people affected by homelessness in the North East.
CEO Sleepout UK was founded in 2013 to help give the business community a small insight into the lives of those living hand-to-mouth without a home to call their own. Those taking part experience one night sleeping without shelter at St. James’ Park in a bid to raise funds to tackle homelessness.
Newcastle United Foundation use donations to support employability projects like our Street Football programme – free weekly sessions using sport to engage vulnerable young people and adults.
Would-be footballers of all ages can fulfil their dreams of scoring in front of the Gallowgate End through Newcastle United Foundation’s Play on the Pitch tournament.
Details of our next event will be released in early 2025. All funds raised will support Newcastle United Foundation programmes that engage, motivate and inspire thousands of children and adults across the North East.
