Children will have the opportunity to participate in four days of football across the week, and each day includes a supervised lunch break for all participants.
To maintain the safety and welfare of all Newcastle United Foundation participants, their families, and staff, Holiday Courses will operate under current guidance issued by the Government and Football Association regarding the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
Holiday Course places are open to children from ages five to 12, operating from Monday to Thursday, commencing at 9.30am and ending at 3.30pm daily.
Courses will take place in Berwick, Consett, and at Goals Newcastle, and hygiene protocols will be followed by all staff to maintain a clean and safe environment for everyone on site.
Andy Dobby, Football Development Manager at Newcastle United Foundation said: "We hope to provide an amazing experience for every child who attends our sessions this half-term.
“It will give them a chance to let off some steam after the first half-term back in school after the festive period. As ever, we are committed to providing top quality football coaching for young players in the area and we always make sure to promote the social side of the game too.”
He added: "We’re continuing to monitor Government and FA guidance daily, and we work closely with our partner venues to ensure we are providing a safe and clean environment for our participants, their families and our staff - indoors and outdoors.
“I have no doubts that our professional Newcastle United Foundation team will once again provide a memorable experience for all of our participants, helping to develop them as players, and most importantly, young people.”
Half-term Holiday Courses will run from Monday, February 21, to Thursday, February 24, at venues in Berwick, Consett, and at Goals Newcastle in Gosforth.
