Foundation Launches Weekly Health Walks

Newcastle United Foundation has organised weekly health walks to encourage the local community to get active!

The health walks will take place every Wednesday morning at 10.30am, starting and ending at St. James Park.

If you’re planning to join us, please ensure that you wear suitable clothing and footwear.  Also please make sure you bring a drink!  Walks will last around 45 minutes and are accessible to all.

Newcastle United Foundation Health and Wellbeing Project Manager, Charlotte Dodson, said: “We’re really excited about launching these walks. They are a great place to start for people that want to take that first step to become more active.  We hope that plenty of people join us for our first walk this Wednesday!”

Walking for Health is an initiative supported by Newcastle United Foundation, The Big Lottery Fund and Newcastle City Council.
