Bid For A Signed Jonas Warm Up Top
United’s players took to the St. James’ Park pitch last month against Hull City wearing T-shirts in support of teammateย Jonas Gutierrez, who is battling testicular cancer.
And nowย 15 of these special warm-up tops, signed by the Magpies squad and staff, are being auctionedย for charity – with allย proceeds going to men’s health charity Movember.
Movember has been nominated by Gutierrez,ย and is the leading global organisation committed to changing the face of men’s health.
It has raised ยฃ346million to date and fundedย more thanย 800 programmes in 21 countries, saving and improving the lives of men affected by prostate cancer, testicular cancer and mental health problems.
Theย 15 T-shirts have ‘Howay man, get well soon’ printed on the front, with ‘Jonas 18’ on the back, which is where the squad and staff have all put their signatures.
Newcastle Unitedย Foundation is running the auction via ourย Ebay page, but all proceeds from the auction will goย straight to Movember.
The auctions began at noon on Sunday, 26th October, and will last for one week.
