Vacancy: Agents To Sell Half Time Raffle Tickets

Newcastle United Foundation is recruiting for agents to sell half time prize draw tickets on match days to help raise funds for the charity.

The Half Time Prize Draw is Newcastle United Football Club’s official match day draw. Tickets are sold around the ground at every home match before kick-off. Each ticket is entered into a half time draw on the pitch, and at every match one lucky fan wins £500. All proceeds from the prize draw go to the Club’s official charity, Newcastle United Foundation.

Sellers will work for up to three hours on match days throughout the season, selling tickets to corporate clients around the stadium.

Applicants should be over 18, friendly, outgoing, confident and with a smart appearance. Sales experience is preferred but not essential. Agents will be paid basic wage but can earn good rates of commission.

Fundraising and Events coordinator Jennifer Rea said: “We’re looking for enthusiastic and committed people who want to support our match day activity.  Our ticket agents are an important part of the fundraising team and their efforts every season are hugely valued.  In the 2014/2015 season we raised over £50,000 for the Foundation and we’re keen to increase that figure as much as possible this coming season.”

If you are interested in becoming a match day fundraising agent please email a copy of your CV to Jennifer Rea. (jennifer.rea@nufc.co.uk
