Enterprise Academy

Newcastle United Foundation’s Enterprise Academy gives young people an unrivalled insight into the world of work using Newcastle United as a case study.

Why join the Enterprise Academy

Supported by the Premier League Charitable Fund and Sport Relief, the Enterprise Academy aims to teach secondary school students about business, enterprise and employability using the day-to-day operations of Newcastle United Football Club as a case study.

Accredited and practical sessions are delivered in mainstream and SEND or Alternative Provision schools. The programme uses the brand of Newcastle United to increase pupils’ business knowledge, confidence, self-esteem and aspirations.

Enterprise Academy also helps pupils to develop skills important for employment, including communication, teamwork and presentation skills.

There is a competitive element too, with groups vying for the chance to represent Newcastle United in regional and national finals of annual Premier League Enterprise Challenge.
