Ridley Family Charity Backs Ashington Kicks

The Ridley Family Charity has awarded Newcastle United Foundation a grant to support Ashington Kicks.
The Ridley Family Charity was established in 2013 and awards grants for voluntary and community projects based and operating in South East Northumberland.
Their support will help fund Ashington Kicks, which is free football on a Friday night at Hirst Welfare Centre from 7.30-9.30pm.
By engaging youngsters in constructive activities, including a wide variety of sports, coaching, educational and personal development sessions, communities benefit from offering opportunities to young people that they may not otherwise have access to.
Laura Wilson, Newcastle United Foundation Project Officer, said: “We’re so pleased to have the Ridley Family’s support and extend our thanks for the grant, which will continue to give young people in Ashington the chance to get involved with sport and have access to activities that can inspire huge life changes.”
