Newcastle United Foundation Launches Primary Stars Programme
Newcastle United Foundation is proud to be launching the Premier League Primary Stars programme, designed to engage and inspire boys and girls aged 5-11 years old. It uses the power and popularity of the league to develop skills and ambition both on and off the field, motivating children by connecting their learning to the world around them.
Schools from Newcastle, Gateshead, North Tyneside and Northumberland can now register their interest in the programme, which will be available from autumn 2017. The programme has been carefully developed by teachers and is linked to EYFS and the national PE curriculum. It inspires children to reach their goals, providing schools with FREE curriculum-linked resources for PE, PHSE, English, Maths and Enterprise, whilst teaching the importance of teamwork and fair play.
The programme provides quality assured learning materials such as prepared lesson plans, assembly ideas, videos, differentiated activities (online and classroom-based), teacher notes and assessment support to every school that registers for the programme. Thanks to Premier League funding, Newcastle United Foundation is able to offer all of this at a significantly subsidised rate.
Newcastle United Foundation can also offer schools our Premium Reward Package, designed to encourage and reward pupils who consistently perform throughout the year across behavior, attendance and homework. It consists of unique Newcastle United opportunities including match day tickets, the use of the stadium to host an event, stadium tours, signed merchandise and much more.
The Primary Stars programme is limited to 65 schools so to sign up or to find out more information, please contact Liam Atkin by email at Liam.firstname.lastname@example.org
