Lichfields Golf Day Raises £1300 For Foundation

Lichfields has raised a fantastic £1380 to be put towards Newcastle United Foundation projects.

The planning and development company teed off a golf day at Ryton Golf Course to fundraise for the charity, with teams made up of Lichfields staff, clients, and guests featuring on the day.

The £1,300 raised on the day will be put directly towards vital Foundation projects which help to support disadvantaged young people across the North East.

Laura Sharman, Fundraising and Events Assistant at Newcastle United Foundation said: “I’d like to thank Phil and Lichfields for naming the Foundation as the charity beneficiary of their golf day.

“It was a wonderful event and we really appreciate all of the golfers getting into the spirit of the day, helping to raise money to support the work the Foundation does across the region.”

Lichfields Senior Director Jonathan Wallace, head of the Newcastle office, added: “Phil did a great job, once more, in organising such a successful day for our clients and contacts and raising such a sum is fantastic achievement.”

“Donning Black and White, as a Sunderland fan, is never a pleasant experience, but on this occasion it was a pleasure to participate and raise  funds for such a worthy cause.”
