Intu Metrocentre Elf Run donates 200 Christmas presents to children across the North-East
Newcastle United Foundation has partnered with Intu Metrocentre and Total Racing International to donate 200 gifts to some of the most disadvantaged children in Newcastle.
The presents donated by children taking part in this year’s Intu Metrocentre Elf Run, which is a 1k run around the shopping centre, were given to the Charity who then facilitated the donation to Newcastle City Council’s Children’s Social Care Department.
Newcastle United Foundation Operations Manager, Steve Beharall, said: “Thank you to Intu Metrocentre and Total Racing International for donating the gifts to us. We’re really proud of the partnerships we have across the region and this is great example of the Foundation being able to bring together two stakeholders to make a real difference and to benefit of some of the most disadvantaged children in Newcastle.”
