Newcastle United Foundation Announces ‘United As One’ Dinner

Newcastle United Foundation is thrilled to once again host the charity’s annual Awards Dinner at St. James’ Park on Tuesday, 5th November, principally sponsored by Atom Bank.

The United As One dinner – an exclusive black tie gala event hosted by Foundation Patron Gabby Logan – will celebrate the impact of the Foundation in the region and the diverse community it serves, with the support of the Newcastle United head coach, current and former players and special guests.

There will be an opportunity to recognise the achievements of outstanding individuals who are achieving great things in Foundation projects.

Following in tradition, two former Newcastle United stars will be inducted into the Foundation Hall of Fame, while guests will also hear from Fairs Cup-winning captain Bob Moncur in the anniversary year of the Magpies’ famous triumph.

Bidfood and Coors will once again support the evening as food sponsor and drink sponsor respectively.

Steve Beharall, Acting Head of Newcastle United Foundation, said: “This is such an important event for the Foundation and we’re looking forward to celebrating some of our unsung heroes, people who have committed to working with us to make positive live changes, and who are now flourishing.

“I hope that many of our supporters are able to join us. I’d like to thank Atom Bank, Bidfood and Coors for their continued support as sponsors – they are partnerships that we are very proud of.”

David Castling, Director of Intermediary Lending at Atom Bank, added: “We have been an active supporter of the Foundation for a number of years and are proud to be sponsoring the event once again.

“The work that the Foundation carries out should not be underestimated, it makes a genuine and profound impact on those it touches paying back the investment many times over.

“As a local bank and major employer in the North East we are excited to see where the Foundation goes next, the opportunities it provides to those in need in the region and encourage the support from likeminded businesses in supporting the Foundation.”

Platinum and Gold tables are now available to book, priced at £2,500 and £2,100 respectively. Host and award sponsorship packages are also available.
