Corporate Partnerships With Newcastle United Foundation

Newcastle United Foundation engages with over 50,000 people in our community each year. The partnerships we have within the local business community are hugely important and we’re always delighted to development relationships that can help meet your business goals.   

We can develop a partnership that meets your business needs and that can:

  • Improve the lives of disadvantaged children, young people and families in your local area.
  • Maximise brand awareness
  • Attract and build long term relationships with customers and staff

Charity of the Year

Nominating Newcastle United Foundation as your chosen Charity of the Year is a brilliant way to involve your staff in fundraising for a local good cause. We will provide a dedicated account manager to engage your staff, helping you devise a calendar of fun,fundraising events over the year and giving you all the tips, tricks and materials you need to reach your fundraising goals. 

Corporate Donations

We rely on the generosity of our funders and donors to extend our reach into the local community. By making a donation you can help change the lives of even more children, young people and families. This donation can be unrestricted or you can nominate a particular project or area of work that you wish to support.

Companies can receive tax relief from donations to the Foundation but company donations are not eligible for Gift Aid.

Employee Volunteering

Staff at all levels within your organisation can donate their time, skills and expertise working in schools, in coaching roles or at fundraising events.

Gifts in Kind

Giving time, services, facilities or expertise is another valuable way to support our charity. We also welcome donations of raffle or auction prizes for our fundraising events.

Sponsorship opportunities 

Every year we hold a variety of exciting events which are available for sponsorship. This is a great way to support Newcastle United Foundation, increase your brand awareness through a comprehensive PR and communications campaign and engage staff and clients.

Team Events

Enter a team of employees into one of our existing sporting or challenge events and we will provide your staff with a fundraising pack and all the motivation they need to raise sponsorship.

Arch – The Northumberland Development Company

Arch Homes awarded the Foundation a two year grant in October 2014 to run our successful ‘Kicks’ project and a range of Lifestyles sessions focused on Arch Homes tenants in Ashington. Funding will facilitate sessions for 12-19 year olds in the area and will provide a much needed diversionary activity for local young people.

“We are delighted to support this programme, the funding will help the local community within Ashington and embed a culture of sport development to inspire our young people. We are delighted our tenants and local residents will benefit from these recreational and educational sessions to help individuals achieve personal goals.”

In October 2014 17 bankers from Barclays Corporate North East in Newcastle cycled 72 miles from Seahouses in Northumberland to their new offices on the Quayside, raising an amazing £15,823.

First Class Supply

Leading north east teaching support agency First Class Supply funds our flagship heritage education project, Toon Times. Their support means the programme can be offered to over 4000 primary school pupils across the region.

ISOS Housing

Registered social landlord Isos signed up Newcastle United Foundation to help young people on Tyneside into work. The partnership mean Isos, like all the best football teams, is creating lots of chances for its residents to ‘hit the back of the net’ by finding work. The work Isos is funding forms part of its Community Investment Strategy

Kids 1st Nurseries

A donation from leading nursery operator Kids 1st means the Foundation can deliver a football programme in 47 special educational needs (SEN) schools, offering each a free six-week block of in-school football sessions.

Newcastle International Airport

Newcastle International Airport announced that Newcastle United Foundation and SAFC’s Foundation of Light will be their joint adopted charities for 2015 and 2016.

“This is a historic moment and marks the first time ever the Foundations have come together in partnership as an adopted charity partner. It is fantastic to celebrate these two organisations working together.

“The airport is the perfect place to reach millions of people as they jet in and out of the region either for business or leisure. Both charities are very worthwhile causes working with children and young people across the region. We’re delighted to be able to help them reach out to the North East public, raising awareness of what they do as well as fundraising within our terminal.”

The Malhotra Group

North East leisure specialists The Malhotra Group lend their support to the Foundation by sponsoring its popular half time prize draw.

Parkdean Holidays

Staff at the Parkdean office in Gosforth have always taken part in fun fundraising activities during the year and have adopted Newcastle United Foundation as their charity of the year for 2015.   

Stark Hartley Atkinson

Newcastle based creative design and advertising agency, Stark Hartley Atkinson provides pro-bono design services, creating bespoke marketing literature for our fundraising events. 

Zenith People

Recruitment company Zenith People entered a team of employees into the Foundation’s Abseil in Spring 2014.

“It was a great challenge, which we all enjoyed and was a fantastic team building exercise for the group. It helped us conquer our fears and raise a substantial amount for charity. We will definitely enter similar events again in the future – bring on the next challenge!”
