Coaching The Female Player – Coach The Coach Clinic

England Women Youth Coach and FA Regional Women’s Elite Coach Developer, Gemma Grainger will be guest presenter at November’s Coach the Coach clinic to give a theoretical and practical workshop with NUFC Girls PDC players.  Gemma has 15 years of coaching experience and holds the Level Four UEFA ‘A’ Qualification. She was recently awarded the Level 5 FA Professional Coaching Award and is now moving on to be a candidate on the Level 5 UEFA Pro Licence. Gemma is currently the England Women’s Under 17 Assistant Coach, having previously assisted with the Under 19s.

The event will be held on Friday 13th November from 6.30pm-9pm at Northumbria University, Coach Lane Campus. Coaches from all levels and sports are welcome to attend, especially female coaches and those who coach in the Women’s game.

The ‘Coach The Coach Clinics’ Initiative was set up in January 2011. Since then the partnership have run a series of monthly clinics which have been attended by over 400+ coaches from all levels of the game. Clinics are open to all grassroots coaches, regardless of qualifications, who are working from mini soccer through to senior age groups throughout the region.

Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Coaches must pre-register before the closing date of Wednesday 11th November 2015, no bookings will be taken after this closing date.
